How does the free trial work?
Download LiveDeck Studio, open it and click Start 14-day free trial — every feature, no card, no account. The days left show in the top bar. The trial is tied to that computer and does not restart if you reinstall. Your shows, songs and settings are kept when you buy.
I bought a key — how do I activate it?
Your key (LDS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) is shown after payment and emailed to you. On a Mac: LiveDeck Studio menu → Licence…, paste the key, Activate. On Windows: Settings → Licence, paste the key, Activate. Internet is needed once; after that LiveDeck re-checks quietly and keeps working offline for up to 30 days.
How many computers can I use a licence on?
A Mac licence activates on one Mac, a Windows licence on two PCs, and the bundle on two computers — typically one Mac and one PC. Moving to a new computer? Click Deactivate this Mac (or Deactivate this computer on Windows) first, or free the seat from Find my licence — then activate on the new one.
What is your refund policy?
If LiveDeck Studio is not right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the licence has been activated on no more than one machine. See the licence terms.
Are updates included?
Yes. Every 4.x update is free for licence holders — new features, fixes and OS compatibility. See what’s new, and grab the latest build from the download page at any time; your licence carries over.
Does Scripture Listen send audio anywhere?
No. LiveDeck does not upload your audio. Speech recognition runs on the computer — Apple’s on-device recognition on the Mac where the language allows, and the built-in offline speech engine on Windows — and the words are matched against the Bibles installed on that machine.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Switching, songs, downloaded Bibles, slides, recording, NDI® and outputs all run without internet — churches in halls with no Wi-Fi run LiveDeck every week. You only need a connection to stream, to activate a licence once, and for online Bibles, lyric or media search.
Can I show a part of my screen or one window?
Yes — Add Input → Screen Capture, then pick a display, one app window (captured even when it is covered), or drag a rectangle to capture just a portion of the screen.
Can several computers work together?
Yes. LiveDeck Link finds other LiveDeck stations on the same network: see what each one has on air, chat and send cues, and send files, songs and presets between them — with an optional passcode.
Do YouTube videos play with sound?
YouTube and Vimeo play in their own player, so they come into the mix as picture only. Video files play with sound through the mixer — use Save to library for a clip you have the right to download, and it plays with sound and without internet.
What does the Windows installer need?
Windows 10 version 1903 or newer, 64-bit (an ARM64 build is available too). The installer adds the Visual C++ runtime itself; web inputs use Microsoft WebView2, which is already on Windows 11. If Windows shows a SmartScreen notice, click More info → Run anyway.
Which payment methods can I use?
Prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed securely by Paystack — cards from any country, plus mobile money and bank transfer in Ghana. Paystack processes the payment in Ghana cedis, so your bank may show a converted amount if your card is in another currency.
